INASCON 2013

INASCON started in 2007 in Denmark, and from the beginning the objective has been to gather students from all over Europe to offer a unique opportunity of networking and promoting the career of young scientists.

Student participation will once again be the focus of INASCON 2013, and we will put together a strong scientific program with talks from leading nano scientists from around the world to encourage scientific discussion and collaboration in different scientific areas.

We are working hard to prepare a great program for INASCON 2013. We hope that we will be able to accommodate 100 nanoscience students from all over the world to create yet another successful INASCON.

	Alex Seifalian is Professor of Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at UCL, and head of The Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering Centre. Details about his research can be found here.

	Thursday 2nd May 2013 Dr. Chris Hooley will be speaking at INASCON 2013
	Chris Hooley is a theoretical condensed matter physicist working at the University of St Andrews. Please read more about his research interest here.
	Sunday 28th April 2013 Prof. Milo Shaffer will be speaking at INASCON 2013
	Milo Shaffer is Professor of Materials Chemistry at Imperial College London, and co-Director of the London Centre for Nanotechnology. Please read more about his research interest here.
	Monday 28th January 2013 INASCON 2013 venue announced
	The 7th INASCON will be organised for the first time in the UK, at the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN), on UCL campus. The LCN is a joint venture between University College London and Imperial College London.
	Thursday 29th November 2012 INASCON 2013 dates announced
	The INASCON 2013 will take place in London from the 19th to the 22nd of August. Registration details will follow soon.
